Wiki

Vince Lucero Wiki

Vince Lucero, a resident of Arizona, is an MMA fighter with well over 40 professional fights to his credit. Since his debut back in 2000 he has faced many well known heavyweights such as Travis Fulton, Christian Wellisch, Justin Eilers, Soa Palelei, Ruben Villareal, Eric Pele, Roy Nelson, Brad Imes, Devin Cole, Lavar Johnson, Eddie Sanchez, Ron Sparks, Tim Hague and the former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia.

In October 2012 it has been announced that Lucero will be facing the former pro-wrestler David Bautista (known as Batista in his WWE days) in the latter's MMA debut after the original opponent, Rashid Evans, was arrested for a probation violation. After coming in as a literally last week replacement, Lucero lost the fight in the first round after being taken down and ground-and-pounded by Bautista.
